- Loan bills are separate. Stopping promotional offers does not stop bills, statements, or other account mail on a live loan.
- Prescreened credit and insurance offers also opt out through OptOutPrescreen, the federal bureau opt-out. That path is not the same as Citizens One’s own marketing list.
Why Do You Receive Citizens One Mail?
Citizens One is the national lending name on Citizens Bank mail. Citizens Financial Group starts in 1828 with High Street Bank in Providence, Rhode Island, then Citizens Savings Bank in 1871, and the 2014 public offering. Their privacy policy says you can limit their mail, telephone, and email marketing by calling customer service. The old citizensone.com host no longer resolves. They stopped originating indirect auto loans in 2023 and said they would keep servicing existing loans.
You get promotional offers if you borrowed or landed on a list they mail. You financed a car, and the offers kept coming after that loan was paid. Some of that mailbox is a pre-approved offer stream. Other mail is their own marketing. This opt-out does not stop bills or account mail on a live loan.

DMAchoice is the Association of National Advertisers' mail preference service. An $8 registration asks about 1,100 participating national companies to suppress your address from prospect promotional mail for 10 years. It does not cover local mailers, charity appeals, companies you already buy from, or occupant / current-resident saturation mail. Allow 90 days or longer.
